Normally, all of your items will be shipped and delivered in a single parcel. If your order contains items which are not in stock, your order’s preparation will begin as soon as the missing items are received by our logistics hub.
THE DELIVERY PROCESS
Your order will be delivered by our preferred parcel service GLS.
When your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail containing a “Track ID” permitting you to track your parcel online or from your smartphone.
Once your parcel has left the Shopmat logistics warehouse, the standard delivery period is less than 24 hrs for Belgium and Luxembourg. However, this normal delivery period is not ensured or guaranteed, since the parcels are transported by road and can therefore be affected by delays caused by traffic disruptions.
DELIVERY
Your order will be delivered to your chosen delivery address.
When the parcel service visits your address, there are three possible scenarios:
- Someone is home, in which case your parcel will be handed over in person
- If no one is home, GLS will ask a neighbour to take charge of your parcel. The delivery person will then leave you a delivery notice indicating the details of the neighbour with whom the parcel has been left.
- If there is no neighbour who can take delivery of your parcel, GLS will arrange for the delivery person to call again.
More information on the delivery process can be found on the GLS website
